The Cheshire Academy Pre-school Gymnastics Club (The Lollipop Club)
What is the Lollipop Club
The Lollipop club gives your child the chance to run, jump, climb, swing and balance in a fun filled atmosphere. Children can learn by using hoops, bean bags and tap sticks to develop their hand to eye coordination. We use lots of different types of gymnastic type equipment to improve the child's physical coordination, balance, strength. and confidence. We do action songs and singing during the classes and the classes are run on different themes. Through out the year. But most important of all the classes are Fun! Fun! Fun!
The Lollipop Club classes are structured so that children are encouraged to complete tasks such as climbing, balancing and co-ordination. The different themes throughout the year are important to help the children develop their language and imagination.
The Lollipop Club is a great place for the children to meet and make new friends. The Lollipop Club was formed over 20 years ago and we are now seeing people who first came as toddlers themselves nowbringing their own children along.
At what age do the children begin
Classes are split into two specific age groups-18 months to 3 years and 3 years to school age. In the 18 months to 3 years class a parent, grandparent, mum or dad must accompany the child however in the 3 years and upwards class the child can be left with the qualified coaches.
When are the classes run
Classes are run mid week and Saturdays. Please contact the Academy for up to date times and details as new classes are regularly started when required.
