When was the club founded?

The Club was founded in 1993 and is an integrated gymnastics club where children with and without disabilities can train and practice gymnastics skills.

What sort of activities do the children do?

The gymnasts have the opportunity to use all the pieces of gymnastics apparatus such as the beam, uneven bars, single bar, rings, pommel horse, vault, parallel bars and also learn skills on the floor.

What ages do we cater for?

These gymnastics classes are for children of school age. Younger children are invited to start in one of our many pre-school classes.

Classes are organised in terms of age so we have classes for 4-6 years old, 6 to 8 years old and classes for 8 and over.

Are the coaches fully qualified?

All classes are coached by fully qualified coaches who have been CRB checked and who follow strict British Gymnastics governing body guidelines.

Does the club do any awards schemes?

Children have the opportunity to work and gain badges and certificates as part of the British Gymnastics Association Gymnastics Proficiency Awards Scheme.
