The Cheshire Academy Dance School was founded in 1995 the provides a whole range of dance, ballet and tap classes for boys and girls. We cater for a wide range of ages and abilities and even run dance and tap classes during the week for adults.
How young an age to they begin?
Our 'baby ballet' classes start with children as young as 3 years. All classes are run on Saturdays, and on Thursday Mornings, and our year runsfrom September to mid July.
Can they do dance exams?
As they get older, children they have the opportunity to take Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examinations if they so wish. Children can begin at pre-primary level and work up to the more difficult RAD grade 5 and 6 levels

Children are taught a whole range of ballet and dance skills including classical technique, classical dance, rhythm exercises, free movement exercises and classical presentation but most important of all is that the children have fun and enjoyment.
All the dance sessions are run by Laura Wilson, an RAD trained dancer and teacher who has taught at the Academy for the last 8 years.
