Are these activities for wheelchair users promoted in Schools
Most of the above sports are so designed that pupils who have disabilities can be paired with pupils who don't have disabilities. These sports is excellent for the development of integrated activities. He Academy has experience at running training workshops to introduce the above activities in Schools.
How successful are our wheelchair members at sport
We are very successful. For example the Cheshire Academy is the most successful disability Sports Acrobatics club in Great Britain. We have competed in every single British Gymnastics Sports Acrobatic National Championship held since the year 2000 the year that disability sports acrobatics was introduced. We are the only club in UK to have achieved this. We are the top wheelchair club in GB for wheelchair sports acrobatics.
